Grand Finale of the 2012 V8 Supercar Championship, The Sydney Telstra 500 – C-Image

Well the 2012 V8 Supercar season has come and has gone for another year. What a fantastic start to season we had with Ford Performance Racings Will Davison dominating most of the season only to have the consistency and domination of the 888 boys take control of his lead and again winning the championship. Full congratulations must go to Jamie Whincup for sealing his fourth title.
The Sydney Telstra 500 was a scorcher just ask Fujitsu Racings Alexandre Premat who had to be pulled from the car due to dehydration during Saturdays race. The frenchman was benched for Sundays race as Gary Rogers decided to run recently crowned development series championship winner Scott McLaughlin for the race and he seemed to have done a great job, Rogers said during the race that his times were consistent and seemed to be gelling well.
Sunday’s race sealed the end of a Ford V Holden Era as Will Davison won the final race and marked his name in history.
We all look forward to a brand new 2013 season with two new manufacturers, Nissan and Erebus Racing with the Mercedes AMG.
Please enjoy my images and see you in 2013!
